Summer Youth Program

The summer youth program places needy youths ages 16-24 in a job during the summer months. This allows youths to work in our community to earn a little extra money while gaining valuable work experience. The Summer Youth program benefits both the students and the community. Please look below to see if you meet the requirements for this program.

Program Requirements:

1. Must be a resident of Washington County.
2. Household income is less than 200% Federal Poverty Levels for household size. (See Application).
3. Youth ages 16-17 as long as the youth is a minor child in a needy family and is in school (Youth may be 18 if they are a full time student in a secondary school):
Youth ages 18-24, as long as they are in a needy family that also has a minor child; or
Youth ages 18-24 that have a minor child and are considered needy.
